Baptism and Communion

Baptism is once in a life-time and available to everyone (infant, child, or adult) who has never been baptised. Folks interested in baptism should contact the Pastors to arrange a date. Baptisms are free of charge (although a cake to share at fellowship is requested). Baptism at Trinity Community always takes place when the community gathers for Sunday worship.

Communion (aka Holy Communion, the Eucharist, the Lord's Table) is Open to All – open to you - no restrictions - members and non-members alike – including children if their parents believe they have some understanding of the sacrament. Celebrated on the first Sunday of the month during Sunday worship - gluten free communion option available! All are welcome!

What to expect?

Worship means many different things to many different people and at Trinity the worship format and worship space often changes to reflect that understanding. The worship service at Trinity is organized by the Pastors with input from the Board of Deacons and other members. It attempts to reflect the need(s) of the congregation and the larger community on any given Sunday. It includes a number of elements including participation with many voices - including the voices of the congregation, the Liturgist, and Pastors.

We recognize that it is always hard to know what to expect when visiting a new church, especially when various worship styles that are so different from one church to another. Which is why we have included this overview of what you can may expect on any given Sunday - recognizing of course that it could also be very different depending on the particular Sunday.
