Welcome to Trinity Community Church, United Church of Christ! Visiting churches for the first time can be scary, so we have created this virtual tour for you to minimize the anxiety of stepping into a new surrounding. We truly hope that when you walk into Trinity Community, whether it is for the first time or 1,000th time, that you will feel like you are walking into your home.

We hope you enjoy your virtual visit and look forward to meeting you in person at one of our worship services or other fun fellowship activity. If you are looking for a church community to worship with - we invite you to visit. We are a smaller UCC community (one of two UCC churches in Berwyn, the other being First Congregational Church of Berwyn, UCC). We are the only UCC church in Berwyn that comes from the old Evangelical and Reformed (E&R) tradition with our heritage rooted in the Lutheran tradition (featuring more stained glass and ornate Altar). The other UCC church in Berwyn is Congregational with their tradition and heritage coming from the Pilgrims and the Puritans (more simple interiors).

The Building

Our church building was built in 1954 after the community decided to move from Chicago to Berwyn. At that time the church name was changed from Trinity Church to Trinity Community Church – to insure that future generations would remember Trinity is rooted in the community it serves (Berwyn, North Riverside, Riverside, Stickney, and the surrounding Chicago and suburban area). The building is solidly built and has been described as a mini gothic cathedral, just on a much smaller scale. We have also been called the prettiest church in Berwyn, however we invite you to determine that for yourself. Please click on the links to work your way through our facility. Welcome!
