The Rev. Walter Coffey, Pastor Emeritus, the ninth called Pastor of Trinity Community Church, UCC served twice, from 1998 to 1999 and from 2000 to 2003. On February 8, 2009 the Rev. Coffey officially became the Pastor Emeritus in honor of the hard work and dedication he offered Trinity during some transformative times. The Rev. Coffey also served Peace Memorial United Church of Christ in Palos Park, Illinois. This life-long resident of Berwyn currently remains a loved part of the Trinity Community, today his home church, the church of his baptism as a child, is the First Congregational Church of Berwyn, United Church of Christ.
